I'm a real college Girl!
Oh my sweet blog readers I know you must feel so neglected, are you going thru withdrawal? I haven't written in a while because honestly nothing really exciting has happened. I've been going to class and doing my work, really that's about it. I haven't been out to anymore clubs or bars recently. I have been to the mall a few times too many. I can tell you what i've noticed. For those of you who went to loyola or still do, you know that we are spoiled. We definitely do not experience the college life. We don't live in traditional dorms unless you happened to live in Hammerman or Butler but for most of us we've had apartments or suites since our freshmn year. We don't really have a caf where you only have the three choices of the day to choose from, grab you tray and decide. Nope we have Primos where there are a billion options, maybe not the best options but options nonetheless and Boulder which is basically like a mini food court. We've only had to share a bathroom with people we live with in our apartments, very spoiled you know. being here at monash uni, i feel like i'm experiencing college for the first time ever, like real college. I share a bathroom with the people on my floor. I walk out of the shower in a towel to go to my room for the whole floor to see, when i'm hungry i go to the cafe and hope there's something i like(which there always is). If you know me and have gone to school with me, you know i dress up to go anywhere, im in heels when i go to class, im in a fully coordinated outfit to check my mail you know. Here I am the typical college student in pajamas or sweats and a tshirt most of the time, well i still kinda dress up for class (you didn't think i would change that much, did you? lol) For those of you at rutgers or any other real college you probably are thinking whats the big deal but really i've never had the college experience until i came here. i feel almost like a pinocchio in Australia, i'm a real college girl!
